Shannon is a licensed professional counselor. She attended Carlow University for both her Bachelors and Masters degrees. Shannon's Bachelors of Arts degree is in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She received her Masters of Science degree in Professional Counseling.
Shannon worked as a Project Coordinator for Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, completing Neuropsychological Testing for those 60 and older. She has experience with those who struggled with memory changes, have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and severe depression, and those who have had a history of suicide attempts/ideation.
Upon leaving WPIC, Shannon started working as an Addictions Therapist for Pyramid Healthcare. Shannon has experience in both individual and group therapy and has been trained and certified in Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is trained and uses in multiple modalities.
In addition to her work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and her children, along with her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis: Dash and Eevee.
